The Pekoe Trail is a 300km trail winding from Hantana to Nuwara Eliya via Deltota, Tawalantenna, the Bogawantalawa Valley, Haputale, Ella, Hali Ela, Etampitiya, Pussellawa and Kandapola. The trail divided in to 22 stages.
Connecting tea estate roads, national parks, and forest trails, The Pekoe Trail passes near approximately 80 villages and small towns, giving travelers a taste of the beauty of Sri Lanka’s hill country, as well as opportunities to learn about its history and culture, and interact with local communities. link to web.

Stage 1
Hanthana to Galaha
Start from Kandy Ceylon Tea Museum Hanthana and continue to walk in the shade of the beautiful tall trees that line the roads of the Hanthana Tea Estate.
Stage 2
Galaha to Loolkandura
The trail start from Galaha estate town, walk throuh the Deltota Estate to the oldest Tea Plantation in Sri Lanka. You can visit James Taylor's Seat and Loolkandura Estate.
Stage 3
Loolkandura to Tawalantenna
Start from Loolkandura Estate to walk through the ancient bullock cart road to Dimbula, the stage ends at Tawalantenna.
Stage 4
Tawalantenna to Pundaluoya
The stage start from Tawalantenna walk through terrace paddy fields, cross Ramboda Oya, which falls on famous Ramboda waterfall and tea plantations to Pundaluoya.
